This vigil is part of the Peace Initiative 2012 supported by former Nobel Laureate International Peace Bureau (1910), former Nobel Prize winner Mairead Maguire (1976), former Nobel Prize winner Adolfo Pérez Esquivel (1980), Folkebevægelsen (Peoples Movement) Denmark, Women for Peace (Sweden), Women for Peace (Finland), Självständighetspartiet (Finland), Syriza (Greece), No to EU: Norway, Grandmothers for Peace, Civil Salary - Bien Norway, Information Workers for Peace, Women's International League for Peace (IKFF), People's Movement Ireland and numerous other individuals and groups.

Enda Kenny presents Angela Merkel with €1 billion
'Enda Kenny' will give us €3.1 billion at the gates of Leinster House and we will then walk to the offices of the EU Parliament in Molesworth Street where 'Angela Merkel' will be waiting to take the money on behalf of the bondholders.
It is important for us all to add to the growing pressure not to pay this enormous sum of money - while simultaneously protesting against this cruel austerity budget.
